Hi, I'm looking to find the breed of dog who played Wrolf in the Secret of Moonacre? I can't find the answer. Leonburger? Salminiac? Newfoundland? Please help?! Loved the movie. Thanks.
Dear Ruxandra!
I know that the time is over... Our place is not available for visitors, it is a privat park but sometimes we are going to make displays in Hungary and sometimes abroad. There you can meet the animals. The next display's time and place is not known yet but as soon as it come out we will write it on the website.

Dear Alex!
It is a good question if we ever used sarplaninac in our films. The main dog was never a sarplaninac but it could be that when we used more dogs in a scene (for example more people with dogs) there were also a sarplaninac.

Dear All!
I would like to say sorry that we did not answer for your questions but we were very very busy in these months. Thank you very much for all kind wishes.

| Rutger Hauer hunts for wild boars In the last work of the famous Italian director Renzo Martinelli it is Rutger Hauer playing Frederick Barbarossa who, whilst working on occupying Milan, takes some time to hunt for wild boars in the forests. Wolves, bear and wild boars in one shot - Timberland commercial We shot the commercial for the Timberland Mountain Athletic Series shoes in the Czech Republic in November 2008. The task was nearly impossible: we had to make a bear, 6 wolves, a wild boar and the actor to run in one frame without any cuts and lock-off. |
The Secret of Moonacre trailer In Hungary Gabor Csupo’s (the father of the Simpson”s) fantasy called the Secret of Moonacre was opening in November 2009. All animals in the movie were trained and supplied for the production by the HORKAI Animal Training Center. |
Bears vote for coke In September 2009 the HORKAI Animal Training Center’s favorite brown bear, Brumi was the main character for a commercial shot for Coca-Cola. |
Colin Farrel and the wolves The many times Oscar nominated director, Peter Weir’s newest work takes place in World Ware II with Colin Farrel and Ed Harris in the leading roles. They chase away hungry wolves from a carcass in on of the scenes shot in Bulgaria. Certainly the HORKAI Animal Training Center trained the wolves for the picture. |
Shooting "Eagle of the Ninth" with Donald Sutherland One of the most significant movies shooting for us in Hungary in 2009 was the “Eagle of the Ninth” with Channing Tatum, Jamie Bell and Donald Sutherland in the leading roles.
